Payroll & Compliance Specialist to join their payroll function. This is a critical role responsible for payroll delivery, compliance oversight and payroll systems administration, supporting a large workforce across multiple locations. The organisation is seeking an experienced professional who can hit the ground running and ideally be available on short notice.Your new role Reporting to the Head of Payroll, you will take ownership of end-to-end payroll operations while ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, awards and enterprise agreements. Your responsibilities will include:Managing end-to-end payroll processing for a large, multi-site workforce.Processing complex payrolls involving shift work, overtime, allowances and penalty rates.Performing payroll reconciliations, validations and payment runs.Managing STP submissions, superannuation, PAYG and other statutory reporting requirements.Ensuring compliance with the Fair Work Act, Modern Awards and payroll-related legislation.Maintaining payroll system integrity, master data and reporting.Investigating and resolving payroll queries, discrepancies and compliance issues.Providing payroll training, mentoring and procedural guidance to payroll team members.Partnering with HR and operational stakeholders on payroll and compliance matters.What you'll need to succeed Demonstrated payroll experience within a complex payroll environment.Strong SAP HCM payroll experience or exposure to a comparable enterprise payroll system.Extensive knowledge of Australian payroll legislation, tax, superannuation and compliance requirements.Strong understanding of Modern Awards and employment legislation.Experience mentoring, training or supporting payroll team members.Advanced Excel and reporting capabilities.Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.What you'll get in return WFH flexibility following a training periodOpportunity to join a large, established organisation with a complex payroll function.Varied role combining payroll operations, compliance and systems responsibilities.Autonomous position with strong stakeholder engagement.Supportive leadership and the chance to contribute to payroll process improvement and staff development.Full-time position with stable business hours.What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' or forward an up-to-date copy of your CV to Taliye Yaman at [email protected], or call us now.If this job isn't quite right for you, but you are looking for a new position, please contact us for a confidential discussion about your career.LHS 297508 Apply Now
