work and a commitment to safety, quality and environmental stewardship, they are seeking an experienced HSEQ Advisor to provide on-site support and drive best practice across project operations.Your new roleBased full-time on-site, you will play a critical role in supporting project teams, ensuring compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality requirements while promoting a proactive and positive safety culture.Working closely with operational staff and subcontractors, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining HSEQ systems, supporting risk management activities and driving continuous improvement initiatives across the project.Key responsibilitiesManage and maintain the Construction Health & Safety Management Plan (CHSMP)Coordinate site inductions and onboarding processesLead HAZID workshops and facilitate risk identification activitiesMaintain project risk registers and ensure effective control measures are implementedReview and monitor Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS)Maintain training and competency recordsSupport incident reporting, investigations and corrective actionsConduct internal audits and assist with client and regulatory audit requirementsMonitor subcontractor compliance and performanceEnsure compliance with contractual, legislative and project-specific requirementsPromote environmental best practice across project activitiesDrive continuous improvement across HSEQ systems, processes and cultureWhat you'll need to succeedPrevious experience in a HSEQ Advisor, Safety Advisor, HSEQ Coordinator or similar roleExperience working within civil construction, environmental, infrastructure, rehabilitation or revegetation projectsStrong understanding of NSW WHS legislation and environmental compliance requirementsExperience conducting audits, inspections and incident investigationsStrong stakeholder engagement and communication skillsAbility to work autonomously and influence positive safety behaviours on-siteCurrent driver's licence and willingness to work full-time on-siteCandidates based in Bathurst, Lithgow or surrounding regions are highly encouraged to applyWhat you'll get in returnPermanent opportunity with a growing environmental contractorLong-term regional NSW pipelineOpportunity to make a meaningful impact on environmental and community outcomesSupportive leadership team and collaborative cultureCompetitive salary package and career development opportunitiesAutonomous role with genuine influence on project successWhat you need to do nowIf you're interested in this role, click 'Apply Now' to submit an up-to-date copy of your CV, or contact Max Wheeler at Hays Engineering for a confidential discussion regarding this opportunity.LHS 297508 Apply Now
