An exciting opportunity exists for a Capital Planning Master Scheduler to support the development, coordination and continuous improvement of a long-term Capital Works Program within a large local government environment. Your new role Reporting to the Coordinator Asset Management and Capital Planning, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing a 10-Year Capital Works Program, ensuring projects are prioritised, planned and sequenced to support strategic objectives, community needs and long-term financial sustainability.This is a strategic planning role focused on program development, forecasting, governance and asset investment planning rather than project delivery.Key Responsibilities:Lead the development and ongoing review of a 10-Year Capital Works Program.Develop and maintain integrated capital works schedules and delivery forecasts.Analyse asset condition, lifecycle, risk and financial data to support investment decisions.Coordinate project prioritisation and program planning activities across multiple departments.Prepare reports, dashboards and business insights for senior management and stakeholders.Support governance processes, capital planning frameworks and continuous improvement initiatives.Maintain and improve capital planning data, forecasting tools and reporting systems.
