We're currently investing out of Fund 10, based in Munich and Berlin.The roleHV's Berlin office is looking for a Receptionist to own the day-to-day of our office — the first point of contact for guests, and the person keeping our office running smoothly. You'll be a steady, friendly presence in the office, handling the daily front-of-house work that keeps things running behind the scenes. This is a hands-on, in-person role at the centre of everything happening in our Berlin office.What you'll do· First point of contact for guests, investors, and founders — a friendly, welcoming presence in the office· Walk through all floors each day to check on cleanliness and order, and catch anything that needs quick attention· Restocking meeting rooms, kitchens, fridges, and pantry· General upkeep — coffee stations, communal areas, tidy-up after use· Watching the calendar to prep rooms ahead of meetings, and checking in on longer meetings for any additional needs· Resetting rooms after use; sourcing food and drinks as needed· Receiving, sorting, and distributing mail & packages· Day-to-day snack, drink, coffee and consumable orders· Monitoring shared inboxes and sorting inbound enquiries· Supporting setup/breakdown and catering logistics for events· Keeping the office running smoothly when the Office Manager is outWhat you bring· Languages: German (mandatory — professional working proficiency, native level not required); English (mandatory — professional working proficiency, native level not required)· Location: Based in Berlin, onsite full working days, 32 hrs, 4 days/week.· Style: Organised, proactive, calm under pressure — you notice what needs doing before you're asked.· Service mindset: Genuinely enjoy being the person guests and colleagues rely on.· Reliability: Follows through, notices the details, and takes initiative without being asked.
