Data Platform Engineer Working Student (m/w/d)

(Bronze, Silver, and Gold), including Auto Loader-based data ingestion.You support the development of data governance concepts using tools such as Unity Catalog, including access control and permission models.You help automate deployments using Databricks Asset Bundles (DAB) and CI/CD pipelines.You contribute to developing data quality frameworks and monitoring solutions for production data platforms.You support the technical documentation of platform architectures and internal best practices.You contribute to internal tooling and demonstrator projects, actively helping shape and strengthen our Data Platform practice.YOUR PROFILYou are currently enrolled in an IT-related degree programme, such as Computer Science, Business Information Systems, Data Engineering, Data Science, or a related discipline.You have good knowledge of Python and SQL.Initial experience with Databricks and/or cloud data platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP is an advantage.You are interested in topics such as data lakehouses, data governance, Infrastructure as Code, and CI/CD.You have a basic understanding of data modelling and data integration processes (ETL/ELT).Experience with Git and version control is desirable.You work independently and in a structured manner and demonstrate strong teamwork and communication skills.You have excellent German and English language skills (at least C1 level in both languages).You are able to work from our Cologne or Munich office at least 50% of the timeYOUR BENEFITSSupportive Team Culture: Team cohesion is important to us – we support one another and foster a healthy office culture.
