Internal Auditor (UAE National)

You will support the delivery of financial, operational and compliance audits, supporting senior members of the audit team. This position is exclusively open to UAE Nationals holding a valid family book. Key Responsibilities • Support the delivery of the annual internal audit plan, with a focus on financial audit areas. • Assist with financial audit engagements, including planning, fieldwork and reporting, in line with internal audit standards and methodologies. • Help assess the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls, risk management processes and governance frameworks, particularly in relation to financial operations. • Identify financial risks and control gaps and raise these with senior audit team members. • Take part in operational, financial, compliance and IT audits, with a strong emphasis on financial statement audits and other financial reviews. • Prepare clear, well-organised audit working papers and contribute to audit reports outlining findings and recommendations. • Follow up on the implementation of agreed audit recommendations, particularly those relating to financial controls. • Build good working relationships with staff across the organisation during audit fieldwork. • Keep up to date with relevant laws, regulations and best practice in internal auditing and the government sector in the UAE, particularly financial regulations and reporting standards. • Support ad-hoc reviews and investigations as required. AED 25,000 to 35,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
