the National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) Multiple Long Term Conditions Cross-NIHR Collaboration and a range of NIHR programmes based within the Diabetes Research Centre. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to research that aims to improve patient quality of life and health outcomes, working within one of the UK's leading centres for diabetes and health research. The role offers a varied blend of customer service, programme coordination, and financial and resource administration, supporting programme managers, researchers, collaborators and partners across the East Midlands.  You will provide high-quality administrative support, managing enquiries, coordinating meetings and events, preparing documentation and presentations, maintaining accurate records, and supporting financial processes including invoicing, reporting and budget monitoring. Working closely with administrative colleagues and a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, you will help ensure the smooth and efficient delivery of programme activities while contributing ideas for continuous improvement.  About you You will have relevant administrative experience supported by academic or vocational qualifications, along with previous experience of working within a healthcare environment. An effective communicator with strong written and verbal skills, you will be confident working with a wide range of stakeholders, including senior colleagues, research teams, healthcare partners and patient representatives. You will possess excellent organisational skills, a flexible approach to changing priorities, strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high standards of customer service.  You will be comfortable using Microsoft Office applications, virtual meeting platforms and administrative systems to manage information accurately and efficiently. The ability to work collaboratively, maintain confidentiality, use initiative and manage competing priorities is essential.
