Working in a fast-paced environment, the role includes taking responsibility to resolve complex queries and issues, supporting activities such as assessment and results processing, using databases and Microsoft Excel to maintain accurate student data on progress and achievement, and delivering a high-quality service across the student lifecycle. This is a full-time post (35 hours per week) being offered on a 12-month fixed term contract, or an internal secondment. This is a hybrid working role where the role-holder will be on-campus for a minimum of 2 days a week, in line with King’s hybrid working policy. About you: To be successful in this role, we are looking for candidates to have the following skills and experience: Essential criteria Experience of working in programme administration and customer service, with the ability to address complaints and service issues efficiently and professionally Excellent organisational and time management skills, adept at meeting tight deadlines and managing competing priorities Excellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain a high level of accuracy at all times Ability to work independently and take initiative, contributing to process improvements and team efficiency Ability to build good working relationships and collaborate as part of a team, relating to a broad range of stakeholders in a professional and assured manner Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to independently draft documents and correspondence tailored to a broad range of audiences Strong numeracy skills, with the ability to handle and analyse complex data Excellent IT skills, with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office (including Excel, Forms and Outlook) and experience of using databases and student records systems (such as SITS) Desirable criteria Degree level or equivalent qualification Experience of working in administration in Higher Education Experience of streamlining business processes through process improvement and digital solutions
