This is a fixed-term role through the end of July 2027  The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) is one of the foremost social science universities in the world, with a global reach and an international community of staff and students. The LSE Student Wellbeing Service (SWS) is a multi-disciplinary service providing support to students and staff. We are recruiting a Safeguarding Casework Manager to lead on managing safeguarding cases and help with the shoring up of safeguarding policy and practice across the School. We are seeking candidates who can bring expertise to the role, working independently to manage a caseload of LSE safeguarding concerns whilst being an engaged team member. Candidates will have significant experience of working in safeguarding – both with under-18s and with adults-at-risk. Candidates will have experience in Higher Education Institution, workplace counselling, or similar environment. Candidates will be skilled in working with a range of people from diverse backgrounds. This role funded through a project to review and improve the safeguarding provision at LSE. Funding is currently in place through the end of July 2027, with the possibility of extension. This position will be subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. Any offer of employment made is conditional on receipt of a satisfactory DBS check.
