Student Welfare Adviser

About you A successful candidate will be educated to degree level or have equivalent experience and significant experience of working in a higher education environment, usually within a welfare/support related role in a large institution, and a good understanding of student support and welfare issues. They will have proven track record of delivery of a high-quality administrative service to undergraduate students and a good understanding of the key issues influencing the UK Higher Education environment and how these affect the student experience. They would have significant experience in supporting/working with students and academics effectively, experience in improving infrastructure and environment to enhance the student experience and a creative approach to, problem solving and responding flexibly to planning and change within general policies, procedures/guidelines.
