a key role in delivering high-quality events in a dynamic, customer-focused environment. In this role, you will set up and operate audio-visual systems across lecture theatres and conference spaces, supporting a wide range of live, hybrid, and recorded events. You will work closely with clients, conference organisers, and suppliers to ensure a seamless technical delivery, while also providing on-the-day support and troubleshooting. This role offers the opportunity to work in a unique environment where no two days are the same, supporting a diverse range of events in a world-class venue. About the Role We are looking for someone who is proactive, adaptable, and customer-focused, with a genuine enthusiasm for delivering high-quality technical support for events. The successful candidate will: Be confident working both independently and collaboratively as part of a team Thrive in a fast-paced, live event environment and remain calm under pressure Have a strong technical interest, with hands-on experience in AV systems or a relevant technical background (e.g. theatre or live production) Demonstrate excellent customer service skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with clients and colleagues Communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing Be well organised, able to manage competing priorities and respond to last-minute changes Show initiative and a willingness to learn and develop new skills About the Department Warwick Conferences delivers world-class meeting and conference facilities in a vibrant setting on the University of Warwick’s green campus.
