Facility is equipped with state-of-the-art fluorescent based technology for sorting (Thermo Bigfoot, Sony FP7000, BD Aria, and BD Melody) and analysis (Sony ID7000, BD Fortessa and LSR, Agilent Novocytes and Cytek Imagestream) along with mass cytometry (CyTOF XT) providing an exciting and innovative research and training environment at the leading edge of cell functional analysis and phenotyping. Your main duty will be, as part of a team, to provide a cell sorting service with additional duties supporting the analysis service and offering front line user support. This is a great opportunity for someone who wishes to develop their experience and skills in the field of flow cytometry technology by developing phenotypic platforms in the cancer research field. About you: You should have a relevant degree (or equivalent) or significant relevant experience. In addition, you will have relevant experience working in a research or analytical laboratory setting along with experience of working with flow cytometers to exacting quality control standards.  Previous experience in flow cytometry techniques and/or relevant work experience in Life Science Laboratory is essential.
